Today Dr. Aafia's Son, Ahmad Gave His First TV Interview
Dr. Aafia's eldest son, the only accounted for child gave an exclusive interview today on WAQT TV Pakistan.
To this day Dr. Aafia's two younger children Maryum and Suleman are missing.
In March 2003 Dr. Aafia and all three of her children were abducted in Karachi, Pakistan.

On July 17, 2008, men coming from evening prayers at the Bazazi Mosque in Ghazni, a provincial capital south of Kabul, paused when they saw a woman outside the building. They formed a circle around the stranger, who was wearing a blue burqa. She was cowering on the ground, with two small bags at her side, holding the hand of a boy of about 12. One of the men, fearing that this peculiar woman could be carrying a bomb under her burqa, called the police.

Dr. Aafia's Ex-husband Sued for Defamation
Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui, (Aafia's sister) a former director of the epilepsy program at the John Hopkins University in the US, has sued her former brother-in-law, Dr. Amjad Khan, and accused him of making false and baseless statements against her in media with regard to photographs of her sister. Dr. Khan had said that Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui had arranged for pictures of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in "various poses" and had handed them over to the media to gain sympathy. Full coverage this story here.
